Asperitas

Asperitas is part of Atmospherics, a series of compositions by Jordan Nobles inspired by different types of clouds.

Atmospherics was co-commissioned by the Arizona State University’s Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble, and performed by ensembles directed by Jeffery Meyer and Jason Caslor. The ASU woodwind musicians recorded throughout spring 2021 for this online premiere performance.

Listening suggestions: try listening to just the flutes, or just the clarinets, or saxophones, or slowly introduce a new musician every 30 seconds, etc. Please note that viewing multiple videos is not supported on mobiles or iOS devices.
